I’m a personal coach and therapist with over 20 years combined of coaching and counseling experience.
Together, we work through the day-to-day challenges and help you rebuild your life now and into the future.
As a coach, I work with individuals who have experienced Post-Concussive Syndrome (PCS) or mild Traumatic Brain Injury (mTBI), as well as other Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBIs). Previously, I was a coach for creatives looking to reinvent their professional their lives or reconnect with their creativity. I received my coaching training from the Institute for Life Coach Training and from the father of the creativity coaching field, Eric Maisel.
As a therapist, my most recent work has been with individuals who have suffered TBIs and other Acquired Brain Injuries (ABIs). Prior to that, I worked in crisis, psychiatric rehabilitation, and private practice settings. I received my education at the University of British Columbia, where I also did research on executive function, neuropsychology, and adult ADHD.
In 2004, I suffered my own mild Traumatic Brain Injury. In the years that followed, I experienced persistent mTBI symptoms and went through my own recovery process. (If you want to read more about that, click here.)
My background has given me the opportunity to help clients with PCS, mTBIs, and other brain injuries deal with their day-to-day challenges. It has also given me the opportunity to help clients get clear on what they want and then go out and get it. As a TBI life coach, I combine this experience to meet my clients wherever they are at in their recovery journey, and to help them rebuild their lives now and into the future.
